Student Council
I have participated in student government for around 5 years in middle school and elementary school. I learned how to represent my friends and community of over 800 students at school district meetings. I would give speeches and talk to administrators about the problems facing our school.

I developed a perspective on leadership: I think that a leader is a strong communicator that other people can trust to represent them.
Speech and Debate
I have participated in my school’s speech and debate team for three years throughout middle school. I participate in many regional competitions, and most recently have received the silver medal at the 2019 Southern California Junior Forensics League Middle school Speech Tournament.
Future Business Leaders of America
I have participated in the Future Business Leaders of America Club at my school for three years as an entrepreneurship officer, and I hope to continue in high school.
